AWARENESS LECTURE AND PROMOTE PNPA

Sharing knowledge is not about giving people something, or getting something from them. That is only valid for information sharing. Sharing knowledge occurs when people are genuinely interested in helping one another develop new capacities for action; it is about creating learning processes.

At about 11:30 am on January 25, 2023, the Cadet together with Patnongon MPS personnel under the direct supervision of PCPT BERLYN C VISDA OIC conducted awareness and the Cadet promotes Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) to the graduate of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) of Patnongon, Antique to increase their awareness and encouraged them to encourage also their friends and relatives to take PNPACAT and be a part of this prestigious institution the PNPA during their Ani 2023 program at Patnongon Municipal Gym.

During this activity, while I’m watching their program I saw how the 4Ps a government program help these people in their daily life. I saw some familiar individuals some of them are my Ka-Barangay, and some of them are the parents of my high school classmates I saw how 4Ps help them because of this government program they can send their children to college and have better jobs so I admire them because they use the fund of the government in a right way and have a much better product.

When SB Cepeda gave me a chance to talk and encourage them and to promote PNPA I was muchly privileged to grab that opportunity to inform them about the Academy and Inspired them to encourage their children to join the long maroon line and a road less traveled the Philippine National Police Academy in the first minute they taught that I’m an intern criminology student only but after I explain why I am there they get confused and because PEMS Garcesa introduces me and she said that my Rank was much higher than her. I saw how they wait me to talk and when I start talking they were amazed at what privileges the Academy can give they are all paying attention to me and it was so overwhelming that they are willing to listen. After my short talk with them, some interested parents approach me and ask how to join PNPA so I give them the FaceBook Page of PNPA enable to them to know more about our institution.

After that event, I realize that I am so blessed because I was able to know the PNPA before because my cousin introduced and encourage me to join this institution every time I am done promoting PNPA, someone will approach me and ask me if they will join PNPA but it was too late they were all over the age and I common phrase I always heard and that is “SAYANG KUNG ALAM KO LANG YAN DATI PA SANA SUMUBOK AKO “. I’m always trying to convince them that if they were not given a chance to try PNPA their children even their relatives can and it is their chance now too because they already know and has an idea about PNPA so I convince them to support their child or relatives if they want to join PNPA.
